Memorial Hospital Foundation Receives Grant from Rotary International GULFPORT, Miss. – Rotary International District 6840 Governor Bob Haeuser, Assistant Governor Tami Munsch, and Rotary Club members within District 6840 presented Memorial Hospital Foundation with a $2,500 check on June 12. The grant will be used to purchase personal protective equipment for Memorial Hospital healthcare workers. Rotary District 6840 chose Memorial Hospital to be one of 11 institutions within the district to receive the grant from Rotary Foundation. “We are so grateful to Rotary for choosing Memorial Hospital as a recipient of this grant,” said Aimee Robertson, Memorial Hospital Foundation President.

Memorial NICU Receives Donation from Jernigan Family GULFPORT, Miss. — The Jernigan Family presented Memorial NICU with a check for $3,250 on June 6 in honor of their daughter Sophia. Sophia was a patient in the NICU for nine days in 2017. The Jernigan Family was delighted by the care Sophia received in the NICU, as well as, the consideration they received as her parents. Memorial NICU Receives Digital CO2 Monitor Donation GULFPORT, Miss. —The Speck and Walker families donated a Sentec Digital Transcutaneous CO2 monitor (TcPCO2) to Memorial NICU on April 22, in memory of their son and brother, Randall Speck. At age 16, Randall was diagnosed with Stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma. It was rare in children and because of the advanced stage of the cancer, the survival rate was virtually non-existent.
