The Memorial Hospital Foundation has more than 15 different funds to help our hospital, our patients and our community.
Breast Imaging Fund
Provides financial assistance for women on the MS Gulf Coast who cannot afford breast diagnostic imaging services such as mammograms, breast ultrasounds and breast MRIs.
Provides scholarships annually to dependents of Memorial employees attending a college or university full time.
Provides financial support for Memorial Hospital, its patients and employees with needs related to COVID-19. Examples of assistance the fund will provide are personal protective equipment (PPE) for our front-line healthcare workers, financial assistance for employees and patients in crisis, meals to our healthcare workers and equipment and supplies needed to fight COVID-19.
Emergency Department Fund
Provides funds to help address the priorities and unmet needs of the Emergency Department at Memorial.
Employee Crisis Fund
Provides funds to employees of Memorial Hospital facing a sudden and urgent situation. Assistance from the ECF results in a significant turning point or resolves the crisis. The max award for this fund is $500.00.
Favre 4 Hope Fund
Provides financial support for patients in financial need who are receiving treatment for breast cancer at Memorial. Examples of financial support are medications, gas vouchers, and medical bills for care being received at Memorial.
Provides general support for the Foundation including funds for donor recognition, communication and cultivation.
Provides funds for the unmet needs and priorities of Memorial Heart Services.
Julie McDaniel Service Excellence Fund
Funds will be used to support the advancement of Service Excellence at Memorial.
Lori A. Sneed Ostomy Fund
Provides assistance to patients at Memorial in need of Ostomy supplies.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Fund
Helps address the priorities or unmet needs of the NICU at Memorial.
Nursing and Allied Health Professionals Excellence Fund
Provides resources for a broad range of recruitment, retention, and continuing education needs to support nursing excellence at MHG.
Provides financial support for patients who are receiving treatment for cancer at Memorial. Examples of financial support are medications, gas vouchers, transportation needs, and medical bills for care received at Memorial.
Helps address the priorities or unmet needs of the Pediatrics unit at Memorial.
Provides funds for unmet needs and priorities of Memorial’s Diagnostic Imaging department.
Provides financial support for children whose families have a financial need. Examples of financial support are medications and medical equipment.
Respiratory Department Fund
Provides funds for unmet needs and priorities of the respiratory department.
In conjunction with the Auxiliary, provides medications for Memorial’s special needs patients.
The Roy Newman Family Pediatric Fund
Provides funds for unmet needs and priorities for Memorial Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
