GULFPORT, Miss – On Friday, December 20th Memorial Physician Clinic managers donated a box full of toys to Memorial’s Pediatric floor.
Bryant Head, internal medicine physician’s office manager at Memorial stated “I started at Memorial in February of 2002 and I have seen what the Foundation does for the community, family and patients here at Memorial. The foundation has touched my heart with all that it does. I saw that you all were doing a toy drive so I made the choice to donate to the cause.”
Each pediatric patient bedside is filled with toys Christmas morning for the child to open. These donations are invaluable to the Memorial staff. It allows the children to still experience the joys of Christmas morning, while in a hospital setting.
The mission of the Memorial Hospital Foundation is to assist Memorial in “building a healthier community.” In particular, to develop philanthropic support for Memorial Hospital and to generate a high level of community understanding and involvement in Memorial Hospital’s vision, mission, goals and objectives.
