On November 11, 2011, friends of Bill Gasparrinni presented the Memorial Hospital Foundation with a check for over $7,000 to benefit the Oncology Patient Fund. A 5K race was held in honor of Bill and his fight against cancer. Over 200 runners participated in the event. The funds will be used to assist oncology patients at Memorial with needs such as medications, transportation and nutritional supplements.
