The Memorial Hospital Foundation will receive $26,500 in grant funding for the Foundation’s Breast Imaging Special Needs Patient Fund from the Susan G. Komen “Central Mississippi Steel Magnolias”.

The goal of the Foundation’s Breast Imaging Special Needs Patient Fund is to help patients in need of mammograms, MRI’s and Ultrasounds. Women or men who are uninsured or underinsured may apply for funding at Memorial Hospital. With this grant, the Foundation will assist hundreds of special needs patients.

The Central Mississippi Steel Magnolias’ service area includes 59 counties in Mississippi including the Gulf Coast.

Memorial Hospital Foundation has been a grant recipient of Susan G. Komen since 2006, receiving over $70,000 in funding to support patients in need on the Gulf Coast.
