Rick’s Speakeasy Raises $7,000 for Cancer Patients

The Memorial Hospital Foundation accepted a $7,000 check for the Oncology Patient Special Needs Fund in memory of former Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees Member Rick Amos who recently lost his battle with cancer. The money was raised at RICK’S SPEAKEASY, a night of juke-joint music presented by the theatre community and Rick’s friends, on June 24 at Center Stage Theatre in Biloxi.

The Oncology Patient Special Needs Fund provides financial support for patients who are receiving treatment for cancer at Memorial. Examples of financial support include medications, gas vouchers, transportation needs, and medical bills for care received at Memorial.
